Job title: Part-time Caretaker
Reports to: Parish Clerk
Hours: 6 hours per week worked flexibly
Start: 01 November 2025, or earlier if possible
The Parish Council is seeking to recruit a flexible individual to carry out Caretaking duties relating to property managed by Bradwell Parish Council, mainly at the Heelands Meeting Place in Heelands, and Bradwell Memorial Hall in Bradwell Village, but with work carried out at the Parish Council’s other properties as required and in liaison with the office staff.
The work involves ensuring the Parish Council rented properties are clean and well maintained.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills with a proven background in dealing with members of the public. Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative, have Caretaking experience, and be able to work both as part of a team and on an individual basis. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping is also required. Monthly timesheets will need to be filled-in and given to the Clerk.
Given the nature of the role there is a need for flexibility, there will be lone and out of hours working.
