Welcome to Bradwell Parish Council

 We are the first tier "grassroots" local council serving the Milton Keynes estates of Bradwell Common, Bradwell Village, Heelands, Bradwell Abbey and Rooksley.

This website has been designed and constructed to provide what Bradwell Parish Council hope will be a valuable resource for our residents to find out more about what is happening within the community as a whole.

Queen Announcement 

Following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, here are some of the ways residents of Milton Keynes can pay their respects.

National Moment of Reflection

A National Moment of Reflection in the form of a one-minute silence will be held at 8pm on Sunday 18 September. 

Floral Tributes

The Mayor of Milton Keynes formally lay flowers on behalf of the City at the Milton Keynes Rose in Campbell Park. Residents who wish to lay flowers are also invited to do so at the Milton Keynes Rose. Flowers left in other areas may be moved there. The City Council requests that flowers are taken out of cellophane wrappers where possible, and that no naked flames or candles are left.

Messages of Condolence

A book of condolence has been opened at the Milton Keynes City Council Civic offices. The book is open to the public to sign daily between 9am and 5pm. Messages can also be shared in a national online Book of Condolence at www.royal.uk

The Mayor has written a letter of condolence to the Royal Household.

Memorial Service

A Memorial Service for Her Majesty The Queen will be held at the Milton Keynes Rose in Campbell Park on Saturday 17 September from 7pm.
This a free to attend event open to all. The event will finish in the dark, so please bring a torch with you.

Commemorative Service

A special commemorative service in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be held at 1pm on Sunday 18 September at The Church of Christ the Cornerstone in Milton Keynes. The service will be led by Revd. Ernesto Lozada-Uzuriaga with the Rt Revd Dr Alan Wilson. Bishop of Buckingham. 

As space at the Church is limited, it will also be live streamed.
